State Privacy Rights

This notice adds to our Privacy Policy for residents of US states with comprehensive privacy laws — California under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and other states with equivalent statutes. Where this notice and the main policy differ, this one governs for those readers.

Selling and Sharing

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. Where advertising is served, identifiers may pass to advertising partners, and that can constitute a ‘sale’ or ‘sharing’ under California and other state laws. The opt-out route is Do Not Sell or Share My Information, and we do not knowingly sell or share the data of anyone under 16.

Rights and Requests

The rights are: access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising, plus in some states a right of appeal where a request is refused. Nobody is penalised for using them; you will not be charged differently or given a lesser version of the site.

Categories of Personal Information

Categories involved: identifiers — IP address, cookie IDs, device identifiers; internet activity — browsing on this site, referrers, timing; and contact details, but only if you volunteered them. These come from your device directly and from analytics or advertising partners where such partners are engaged.

How to Submit a Request

Two routes. For an opt-out: turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honour automatically. For anything else — access, correction, deletion, portability — email hello@deskspaceplan.com. Verification is by reply to the originating address, responses come within the time state law sets, and an authorised agent may submit on your behalf with written permission.
